Encoded Tech (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the CreditBook mobile application for Android (the “App”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App to track debts, payment entries, and ledger logs.

By downloading and using CreditBook, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information Collection and Use

To provide a functional debt tracking and ledger experience, the App handles data in the following ways:

• Financial & Transactional Ledger Data: Any debt amounts, customer names, repayment entries, and due dates you input are processed to display balances and calculate metrics inside the App.
• Contacts Access (Optional Permission): The App may request access to your device's address book. This is entirely optional and is used solely to let you quickly import customer names and phone numbers directly into your debt ledger. We do not upload your contact list to any external servers.

2. Data Storage and Backups

• Local Storage: By default, CreditBook operates as a local-first application. All data entered is saved directly on your secure local device storage.
• Cloud Backups (Premium): If you choose to enable our automated cloud backup features, your encrypted data is transmitted securely via HTTPS and stored using our cloud infrastructure provider (Supabase) to enable cross-device synchronization and data safety.

3. Third-Party Services and SDKs

The App incorporates third-party software development kits (SDKs) to serve advertisements, manage configurations, and facilitate communications. These third parties may collect information used to identify your device in accordance with their own policies:

• Google Play Services
• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)

4. App Integration and Communication

When you use the App to send payment reminders or receipts, the App utilizes native sharing intents to launch third-party applications on your phone (such as WhatsApp, SMS applications, or email clients). Your actual communications through these channels are protected by and subject to the privacy terms of those respective providers.

5. Account and Data Deletion

We respect your right to control your personal data. You can completely erase your data at any time:

• Local Data: Clearing the App's data in your Android device settings or uninstalling the App will immediately wipe all locally saved debt ledgers.
• Cloud Data Deletion Request: If you have an active account or utilize cloud backups and wish to permanently wipe your profile, transaction logs, and cloud storage files, you can send an explicit deletion request via email to support@ivify.com.ng. We will process your request and permanently delete all your records from our databases within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

CreditBook does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our records.

7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective date" at the top. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
